Taken on a phototrip with

YaIdt through Berlin...

I stood there for almost 10minutes to get a good picture from this lantern and is was freakin cold! You have to know that it illuminates its lamps in different colors and patterns (left, right, both lamps)... but it didn't do the pattern I wanted to shoot (and my fingers were getting colder and colder...) so I picked this one without any.

Below another shot with one lamp illuminated I'm less satisfied with ^^

it's a little tilted (i would fix it)
the silhouettes are nice, as carlos said, but I would have chosen a faster shutterspeed.

Lenn0: Do you refer to the lantern, which is tilted? I tried to put it straight, but b/c it's not square to the balustrade it looks rather odd if put it that way... and I only have an automatic digicam, so I coulnd't do anything about the shutterspeed T_T

Ahh.. freakin' freezin' that day - I'm quiet suprised you didn't shake and thereby ruin the picture

But this one turned out pretty nice! Really like the "shadows" of the passing ppl!
Well chosen title, too
